Children’s museums are cool.

Yes, that is a Giant Operation Game.  When the tongs hit the sides, there was a noise and light.

Alycia, thank you, it was a fun museum. We’d never been to this one before. There’s a few others in the area I want to visit during summer.

The girls did NOT want to leave this museum. We were there almost 3 hours. By 2 hours I was ready to go but they were still having fun.🙂

Which museum was it? We usually go to the Dupage Childrens Museum, but have also been to the Curious Kids Museum.

Btw, I did get your email, it has just been crazy busy around here since we had two extras, bringing us up to 7 kids total, for the past few weeks!

    That’s okay Melody. I understand.

The museum was the children’s museum in Oak Lawn. I have yet to get them out to Dupage County. The Museum in Oak Lawn is closer than the Dupage County one.

We went to the Curious Kids Museum last year. That was fun too.

Oh, and hey, I ought to email you the few relatively low cost historical re-enactment type stuff we plan to go to this year. Or I’ll post about it.

Do they have a web address? I don’t think they’re reciprocal under our family membership like the others are but might be worth checking for another time. The dupage one is only about an hour from me, curious kids is a lot farther than that. Not sure how far oak lawn would be, ill have to mapquest it. We did both dupage and the shedd over our spring break. Definitely post/email about those when you have the chance. We’ll be looking for lowcost activities this summer. During the school year is just so hectic right now!

    Here’s the web address

Oak Lawn is 20 minutes closer than Naperville.

I imagine that Dupage County is MUCH bigger. But sometimes even the smaller ones are still nice.

I ended up wanting to go to the Oak Lawn one because Lakeshore Learning is just a few miles away.
