Here’s a free printable pumpkin life cycle sequencing card set from Montessori for Everyone. I printed them out on cardstock and laminated them with self-stick laminating sheets.
This is my 4.5 year old putting the cards in order.
I put the pumpkin life cycle cards, along with a set of oak tree life cycle sequencing cards from this wonderful little website called Pre-Kinders on our nature table.
Thank you for the link on the oak tree life cycle cards, I didn’t know about that site and found a couple of things there.
The Prekinder’s website has a lot of other great ideas too. I think she’s done a fantastic job and I’m grateful she shares her printables.
Thank you so much for the links! The cards look great!
You’re very welcome! The cards are pretty darn awesome!
Your nature table is beautiful. Thanks for the life cycle resources!
Thank you Denise, and you’re welcome too.
I can’t wait until November, because I have a few ideas for Thanksgiving to add to the nature table.
Wonderful cards and thanks for sharing the links!
Fondly,
Pink and Green Mama MaryLea
You’re very welcome!
Thanks for sharing this great resource. I’m all about all things pumpkin right now, getting ER ready for the annual pumpkin trip. Looking for some inexpensive, i.e. free pumpkin life cycle cards were on my to do list. They tie in perfectly with a book we have. Off to go get some!
Oh, how awesome is that, that I was able to point you exactly where you could get free pumpkin life cycle cards!
Have fun on the pumpkin trip!
Happened by, as I just got a laminator and was looking for card ideas for our little ones. these look great and I can’t wait to look though others you may have. Can you tell me what kind of card stock you use (weight, etc)? I would like card stock that can go through our home printer, but am unsure of what to buy.
Thanks.
The cardstock isn’t anything fancy…usually the “value pack” works just fine.
I would tell you the weight, but it doesn’t indicate what it is on the package.
I know I’m deep in the archives – but I found you through a Bing search for ‘Life Cycle of a Pumpkin’ 🙂 Love your few pages that I’ve found in the archives – off to visit your more recent posts now. I’m working on a fall themed tray set for my son and can’t wait to print up these pumpkin and leaf cards you’ve linked to. Thank you!
