Martha Stewart’s Earth Day Special

Martha Stewart (11 am CST) will feature a profile of Sims-Metal Management – the world’s largest metal recycling company today as part of their Earth Day Coverage. Set your DVRs and VCRs or tune in to see Sims-Metal Management discussing their contributions to the health of the environment. Sims-Metal Management facilities in Newark and Jersey City, New Jersey will be highlighting the shredding and other recycling processes for viewers. They recycle cars, electronics, household appliances and other materials. They remove all harmful components before further processing with huge shredders for recylcing.

I mention this because my husband works for one of the facilities (same company, different region) as an engineer. Needless to say, the girls are proud that their daddy is part of an environmentally conscious company.
