Oak seedling

Here’s update on the acorn I found that started to germinate: I planted it a week or so ago, and it seems pretty lively now. Now I guess it won’t be doing much for a couple of years, but I have to protect it from small animals nibbling it’s leaves, so I put a plastic milk crate over it. I know it looks silly, but the bunnies have been eating the leaves off my morning glory plants (they are beyond hope).
