Me –
I am 43 year old former scientist in the field of biotechnology. I had 12 years of clinical laboratory experience in three different areas (microbiology, forensic DNA, and medical genetics). I substitute taught preschool through twelfth grade last year.
I now stay at home with my three wonderful, bright and active girls. It’s my goal now to bring my love of learning and science in particular to my children before my littlest is in kindergarten (when I hope to go back to work).

i would like to link with you, i am an online project featuring kids pretend or dress up items from around the world. Right now we have largely items from the Mayans in Guatemala. Soon we will expand to West Africa, the Middle East, South America, and Asia

I should scan in the photos of my daughters having a dress-up tea party with their grandmother. It’s becoming a great tradition with them.
I love desire to keep the adventurous spirit growing in kids and yourself. I am a retired preschool teacher and my classroom was always about adventure in some form or another. I have recently begun to write the stories down that I used during that time and have just published the first. I would love to have you read and review it. It is an adventure which explores the outside with imagination and cognition. Kids learn descriptive language, sensory exploration and sequential thinking while riding a rainbow. Here is the link.
