Okay, after about a week of fiddling around with Word 2007 and figuring out how to convert into pdf without going through Scribd, I finally am ready to start posting some math activities I created. Let me know if anyone has problems viewing or printing these out. I am not sure if you need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view them, but probably. Even if you don’t need it, it’s a free download at Adobe.com.
Gingerbread Sequencing – There’s actually 5 different sizes, but I only cut out 4 to show.
Of the 4 smallest sizes there’s actually 2 copies each (therefore you get some extra ones and use them for counting or matching sizes). The largest one (not shown) could either be used with them, or maybe used as a counting mat to put gumdrops on.
What I like to do is print them out on cardstock and laminate with self-stick laminating paper to make them last. Lately I’ve been using Duck Peel and Stick Laminate which is about 10 dollars for 8 yards. It’s fairly easy to work with.

And here’s one of gingerbread patterns:

I love this! Tonight for the first time ever I read The Gingerbread Man to my daughter and would love to print out the first sequencing pattern but am having trouble. I’ll keep trying!
Let me know if you are still having trouble. I’m going to see what happens when I log out. I had been able to print out earlier today when I was logged in.
I will see how things go on my end, hopefully I’ll work out any problems.
Yay! This is perfect. I just made a gingerbread man felt set and printed some story sequencing cards to go along with it before I even read this:)
You always seem to post things exactly when I need them. Thanks!
Awesome – let me know if you successfully printed them out or had any problems.
Thanks Starr!
I get page not found for the sequencing one.
Shanna – I will try to work on that. I can’t figure out why I can access it from here when I’m logged on or off. I am not sure what is going on, or why you can’t access it. I’ll keep working on it.
Okay, I tried uploading it again. I’m going to check on another computer to see if it worked.
Okay, I think I fixed it (hopefully).
You did it! I successfully printed out the gingerbread men and am now off to make a felt one. Thank you so much!
Great! I’m so happy it worked!
It’s a nice printout – I think we’ll do some patterning later this month. Thanks for sharing!
How cute!
